Somaliland has been an independent, peaceful country since 1991, with its own government, currency, and a robust mobile money and banking system that international buyers can settle through reliably. In late 2025, Somaliland began receiving formal recognition from major countries — with more expected to follow — further strengthening its position as a trustworthy sourcing origin.
